Painted Faith Journal
The painted faith journal acts as a record of your devotion and creative journey. The first journal of this series will be focused on Lent, the time leading up to Easter. Lent is a time of repentance, surrendering and preparation. We self-evaluate, reflect and give up the desires of the flesh so that we may move closer to God. For forty days (plus Sundays), we take ourselves on a journey signifying the time Jesus spent in the wilderness, enduring the temptation of Satan.
The painted faith journal is half sketchbook/half devotion & writing. I purposefully left the pages void of color and pattern so not to influence your direction or palette. The journal provides space for verse exploration in lettering, gratitude, prayers, inspiration and creation. You do not have to limit yourself to the verse of the day. You can create depictions of anything that calls your soul to create perhaps your breakfast, a quote, picture or the view outside your window. The inspiration that surrounds each of us is limitless from our creator.
Lent 2019 starts on Wed. March 6th. Please join us online using #thepaintedjournal
