Painted Gypsy Art Camp
Join us for the 4th Painted Gypsy Camp
Has the call to create been ringing in your ears? Wouldn’t it be amazing to immerse yourself in creativity and focus on you, if only for a few days?
Imagine yourself in a world with supportive like-minded women who lift your spirits with encouragement and instill confidence in your art. A place where you can find your creative voice, enhance your skills and remove a few artist’s blocks.
If this is ringing true, then please join us for a small gathering at the Brick & Mortar Studio in the historical downtown Rogers, Arkansas on September 10, 11, 12 & 13th

There will be lots of creative playtime during this long weekend getaway with women who love to make!
A few of the projects you will complete will be a painting (30”x30”), 'nook' paintings, a lovely felted treasure, painting with embroidery, and jewelry project.
Tiffany Foster Smith of the The Painted Jackalope will lead us in our painting time. Her art has been sold at the Country Living Fairs and featured in HGTV's Fixer to Fabulous show. She is a joy to be around and loves to help others discover their abilities.
You do not have to be an “artist” to participate. All levels are welcomed.
Follow along with the instructor or bring your own projects. This time is for you. We will be here to help in anyway we can. Like many of Tiffany’s other classes, you will have the freedom to choose your own color palette and/or subject matter for many of the projects. Please feel free to bring inspiring sketches and photographs. We encourage you to start an inspiration Pinterest board before your arrival. .

New Covid-19 Restrictions for In-Person Camp
*In-Person Gypsy Camp will look different than years in the past with the Covid-19 restrictions. They include:
- All attendees will be required to wear a mask
- 6 feet distancing between attendees including tables & easels
- Supplies will not be shared. Attendees will receive kits for each Art Session.
- Hand sanitizer will be at the entrance to be used on entering and exiting
- Hand washing station will be available in the bathroom (one on-site)
- Meals of Lunch and Dinner will be in individual containers. (no buffet style)
- All attendees will be responsible to take their own temperatures before arrival along with self-monitoring and reporting of symptoms such as fever, coughing, shortness of breath, etc.
- Sign off at the start of each day stating whether they have been exposed to persons with Covid-19
I also wanted to let everyone know that I will be teaching this year. We are scheduled to start on August 26th. For those of you that did not know, I teach Art for the 7th to 12th grades in Elkins school district. As of today, students in our district are choosing between 5 days in-person or virtual. Of course, if I come in contact with anyone with Covid-19, I will self-quarantine and communicate that to everyone. If this does happen, we will have to reevaluate by virtual only or postponing the event altogether.
In saying all of this, I want this event to be a creative retreat for each one of you. I know it will look quite different, but I will try my very best to make this experience one of sisterhood and inspiration either virtual or in-person. -Tiffany Smith
